HALF DAY MASTERCLASS:
Increasing Downloads and Usage of Your Customer-Focused Mobile App

Mobile apps are increasingly effective for customer transactions and driving revenue. Every business with a mobile app wants to encourage downloads and user engagement - but what are the tried and tested ways to stimulate usage, attract return visits and drive revenue?

App developers and marketers need to apply specific techniques to ensure that your app can be found, downloaded and used on a regular basis.

At this masterclass you will spend half a day with Mike Hines, Developer Evangelist from Amazon USA and learn from his experience in working with hundreds of apps and developers. You will learn what you can do during app design that will encourage users to engage with your app, and what inexpensive marketing you can do to make a big difference in downloads.

We will cover:

  • Generating more downloads from your Appstore page
  • Buying users. The good, the bad and the ugly
  • Why you need people talking about your app and how to encourage that
  • Triggers that keep customers coming back to your app
  • Putting ads in your app. What is and isn’t working today
  • What is an in-app-purchase, and do I need that?
  • Examples of successful B2C mobile apps

This is a half day masterclass session and includes:

  • A presentation by Mike Hines
  • Group discussion
  • Analysis of real-world apps that get it right
  • Morning tea

Only 15 spots are available. Book your ticket now.
