Abbie is a Marketing Manager for Australia at Xero, a global cloud-based platform that connects small businesses to advisors, products and each other. Abbie manages the awareness and acquisition portfolio, building the Xero brand through a variety of sponsorships, advertising and events, and driving customer growth in a fast-paced business environment.
Prior to Xero, Abbie worked in the utilities industry, managing marketing and sustainability initiatives for renewable energy retailers Powershop, Momentum Energy, Yarra Valley Water and the Victorian State Government. Abbie is passionate about the role small businesses play in driving economic growth across Australia and is proud to play a part in a business dedicated to helping them thrive.
Han te Riele, General Manager, Brightlabs
Han is the General Manager at Brightlabs, a multi-award winning digital agency in Brisbane and Melbourne.
Han began his career in software development when he got his first Olivetti with two 5 1⁄4-inch floppy disks in the early 1980’s. From there, he has seen the world of software and personal computers develop to what it is today. While in Europe, Han had a number of Director roles at LogicaCMG (now CGI), a major European management consulting and software development company.
Since his tenure, Brightlabs has won many awards, including two Webby Award Honourees, listed in the Top Ten Agencies Worldwide (Interactive Media Council), Interactive Media Awards, Communicator Awards, and the Web Marketing Association Awards. Brightlabs has also been listed in the SmartCompany Smart50 and BRW Fast100.

Michelle Wilson, Marketing & Communication Manager, The University of Queensland
Michelle is a strategic and innovative manager with extensive experience in strategy, digital marketing, design and communication. Michelle currently works for The University of Queensland and has delivered digital strategies and marketing campaigns for a range of clients either consulting or in-house within the higher education, hospitality and tourism, printing and publishing, coaching and not-for-profit-sectors.
Naina D'Souza, Group Digital Manager, Michael Hill
Naina has delivered digital solutions for a range of organisations in Australia and the UK, she has a passion for shaping the customer experience. Her career has included extensive experience in retail banking, as well as experience working in-house and for leading consultancies where she’s advised clients across a diverse range of industries including entertainment, public sector, B2B, and not for profit. Naina is currently leading the digital agenda at Michael Hill International.
Rob has been delivering digital marketing concepts since 1992, which may just make him one of the longest standing digital practitioners in Australia. He is currently the Managing Director for Clemenger BBDO and is based in Brisbane.
Rob is a sought after public speaker on emerging digital strategy and technologies and amongst his credentials, he is the author of the 'Hudson report' a ministerially commissioned review of social media within defence.
